Willow Room 2024 - 2025

The Willow classroom is catered for children aged 3-4 years. Our pre-school classroom provides children with learning opportunieies which is planned and delivered by a qualified Teacher, who is supported by experienced Early Years Practitioners. Our large room is designed with provision to enhance and expand childrens skills focusing on both the prime and secondary areas of learning. Each area has been carefully planned out by our teacher to ensure that when your child leaves our nursery they are independant lifelong learners.  All activities are tailored to children's personal, social and emotional skills, their communication and language skills and physical development. 

We focus on the establishment of characteristics for Effectvie Learning. To learn well, we believe that children must approach opportunities with curiosity, energy and enthusiasm. These abilities and attitudes create strong learners which will make good progress in all of the Areas of Learning and Development. To promote this we provide children with opportunities both in the indoor and outdoor environment. 

Our outdoor environment acts as a classroom; where children can explore, investigate and discover the natural environment. Outdoors allows children to develop their language and gain first-hand learning experiences which they are able to adapt once they leave our Nursery. Outdoors provides a valuable teaching tool for teaching and learning in all curriculum areas. 

All children will be assigned a Key Worker, who will support your child's development to ensure that they are Recepetion Ready. All parents will be given updates via our app weekly with observations and pictures.
