Play is vital for children.

It's through play that babies and young children learn, grow and have fun. It helps them to understand the world and to develop socially and emotionally. It also helps their confidence, so they can handle what life brings them.

 

We believe all children should be able to play and learn in a fun environment with well qualified and experienced adults who understand and can care about them.  Children learn by leading their own play as well as taking part in play which is guided by adults.  In this way they can learn to explore, to think about problems and relate to others.

 

This means that we ensure that each individual baby and child is learning through high quality play that is tailored to their needs and interests. This allows them to develop at their own pace, have fun, make friends and learn as they play, helping them to reach their potential.
