Acorn Room children will be reading the story of Handa's Surprise next week.  Why not watch the video with your child this week and talk about all the different fruits and animals that we see in the story:

Why not try some new fruits - what do they look like? feel like? taste like? which fruit do you like best?

Have a go at balancing some toys on your head - can you do it?

We have also been finding words that rhyme with our name.  Rhymes are words that sound the same at the end and sometimes they sound so silly it makes us giggle!

Freddie - beddie

Daddy - baddie

Mummy - wummy

Have a go making rhyming words with the names of people in your family.
